UK: BrewDog announces leadership changes as CEO steps down

BrewDog has announced a leadership reshuffle, with James Taylor stepping up from CFO to CEO and Lauren Carrol moving from CMO to COO, both effective immediately. The transition follows the departure of James Arrow, who is stepping down for personal reasons.

Arrow, who joined BrewDog in 2023 as COO before becoming CEO, played a key role in the company’s US restructuring, operational improvements, and securing a major MCC partnership at Lord’s. BrewDog thanked him for his contributions and extended an open invitation for his return in the future.

Taylor, credited with returning BrewDog to profitability, brings strong financial and strategic expertise, while Carrol’s deep craft beer knowledge and brand-building success have helped drive key products like Wingman and Black Heart. Their leadership will focus on profitability, global expansion, and innovation.

Chairman Allan Leighton expressed confidence in the new leadership, stating: "James and Lauren are the perfect team to steer BrewDog into its next phase."
