Mexico: Arca Continental announces major investment in the country

Arca Continental, one of Coca-Cola’s main bottlers, has announced plans to invest €820 million in its Mexican operations by 2025. The announcement was made during the company’s Annual Shareholders' Meeting and includes a focus on expanding production and distribution capacity, enhancing digital marketing capabilities, introducing new beverage categories, and advancing its sustainable business model.

The company reported strong results in 2024, achieving its highest consolidated margin in the past eight years and record sales volume in Mexico. Its U.S. operations also posted high margin levels. Consolidated volume surpassed 2.5 billion unit cases, while net sales grew 11% year-over-year.

Coca-Cola CEO Gutiérrez Hernández highlighted these milestones as proof of Arca Continental’s ongoing evolution. “Each milestone, from achieving our highest consolidated margin in eight years to being included in the world’s leading sustainability indices, demonstrates our determination to evolve in all aspects of our business,” he said. “We will continue our digital transformation and maintain the operational excellence that defines us.”
