Bernardo Martínez, vice president of Public Affairs of Constellation Brands Mexico said that the construction of the beer plant in Veracruz is going according to plans, so he highlighted the maritime route for exports to the United States, as a more efficient transportation to avoid highway robbery.
The Veracruz factory will be efficient, because there are three alternatives: maritime, rail and land, and in the event of a hurricane, more product is loaded onto the rail or land route.
“Veracruz has a lot to offer with its proximity to the east coast of the United States (to cities like Jacksonville and New Jersey) and our brands have grown quite a bit. “Just like our Modelo and Corona beers,” said Bernardo Martínez, Vice President of Constellation Brands Mexico.
