"Beer lovers across the country are turning to non-alcoholic or low-alcohol beers to meet moderation goals," said Brian Crawford, president of the Beer Institute. The survey found that when selecting non-alcoholic beverages, 22% of adults preferred non-alcoholic beer, aligning with market data that shows the non-alcoholic beer segment in the U.S. grew by 30% in 2024. Among adults over 21, 22% preferred non-alcoholic beer, compared to 13% for non-alcoholic wine and 10% for non-alcoholic spirits. Participants also reported notable benefits from their choice, with 49% citing improved well-being and 48% highlighting financial savings as key advantages.
