Bottled wine remained the leading export product, with a 3.4% rise in turnover and a 3.2% increase in volume in 2024. White bottled wines showed stronger growth, rising by 10.4% in volume, while red wines increased by only 1.9%.
Bulk wine exports also grew, rising from 46 million liters to 52 million liters, an increase of 13.6% year-on-year. White bulk wine exports expanded by 25% in volume, while red bulk wine exports grew by 12.5%. However, bulk wine export levels in 2024 remain below those recorded in 2022 and 2021, indicating further growth potential.
The most significant development was in concentrated grape juice, or must, whose exports surged to €130 million in 2024. In terms of volume, Argentina exported 82,500 tons, more than doubling the 40,500 tons of the previous year. Must has now become a key product in the diversification of Argentine wine exports.
