Mexico: Femsa announces agreement with Traxión to divest certain logistics operations

Mexican company Femsa announced that it has reached an agreement with Grupo Traxión to sell its logistics operations in Mexico, Brazil, and Colombia for €180 million.

However, this transaction does not include Femsa's less-than-truckload (LTL) operations in Brazil. This sale marks an additional step in the execution of the Femsa Forward plan, announced in February 2023. Femsa's CEO stated that the transaction is subject to regulatory approvals and other customary conditions, but it is expected to close in the coming months.
