The acquired plants include two state-of-the-art corrugated converting plants in Ebersdorf and Greven (Germany), which offer excellent plant performance and product quality. By expanding its portfolio to include solid board solutions, Mondi offers eCommerce and FMCG customers sustainable packaging that protects products while optimizing logistics processes.

In addition to the expanded portfolio and improved value chain integration, the combined expertise of Schumacher Packaging and Mondi will help customers reduce waste, lower CO2 emissions and improve operational efficiency.
Mondi achieved a turnover of €7.4 billion and an adjusted EBITDA of €1.0 billion in 2024.
