Brazil: Non-alcoholic beverage market poised for significant growth

The non-alcoholic beverage market in Brazil is set to expand significantly, according to a report by the Brazilian market research agency Yourside. The sector's value is projected to rise from €31.2 billion in 2024 to over €52.4 billion by 2034.

Key drivers of this growth include functional beverages, specialty coffees, and innovative drinks like non-alcoholic cocktails, kombuchas, and coconut water. These categories are expected to lead the market's expansion between 2023 and 2034. In contrast, traditional soft drinks – including flavored waters and fruit drinks – are forecast to grow by only 1.10 percent over the same period.

Notable trends shaping the market include a rising demand for functional and health-oriented beverages that promote well-being and longevity, the popularity of non-alcoholic cocktails, and the increasing availability of Ready-to-Drink options.
